Hi Amores, that it’s been so long since my last post, I really missed writing here, but 2019 went by a flash with full of lessons and development. During my last photoshoot of the year with Bamboos, and Isabel (an incredible make-up artist), I could have recognized through this photoshoot session a result of my five emotional stages during 2019. So, happy to share and talk about this great moment of full of emotion.
As we’re all starting the fashion week mood I thought it would be appropriate to do a Fashion Week related to my unique experience attending such special shows and presentations that I could ever imagine. Let’s get starting with the REVEAL PROJECT PARIS FASHION-WEEK from march and september F/W 2018/19 seasons.
Reveal project was started by TATRAS designer Masanaka Sakao, who wanted to build upon his experience as a designer to pass on Japan’s history and tradition. Therefore he created an unprecedented brand concept that maximizes the value of Japanese culture from a creative perspective, by combining their knowledge and experience in all areas.
Linking these creative skills and the network developed through TATRAS JAPAN, they aim to position Japan’s unique techniques and tradition as a standard in the worldwide fashion industry. The driving force behind the REVEAL PROJECT is the spirit and passion of the Japanese craftsmen. This line came to fruition through the support of KIMURA SENSHOW, a renowned hand drawn Kyo-Yuzen kimono producer, who is based in Kyoto. The results are 7 silk jackets with hand-drawn Kyo-Yuzen design, which mark this first collection. The bomber jackets are all made of the purest Japanese silk and each garment showcases its very own Kyo-Yuzen design.
SPRING SUMMER 2019 Collection
Kyo-Yuzen, a technique of painting dye directly onto cloth, was invented in the middle of the Edo era, towards the end of the 17th century. It has since become the ultimate art of kimono dyeing, famous for its use of distinctive and vivid colors seen nowhere else in the world.
This new Spring-Summer collection displays ten spring coats, which will also deliver the traditional Japanese artisanship on a larger and bolder modern garment to the now, making the viewer an observer aware of the prestigious craftsmanship and the boldness of Japanese traditional design.
This will be the real fusion of Japanese tradition and modern fashion where Masanaka Sakao celebrated Kyo-Yuzen kimono craft with a series of hand-painted coats to bring the Japanese ancestral tradition.
Tatras designer Masanaka Sakao expanded his canvas for fall. Instead of the bomber jackets of Reveal Project’s first offering, Sakao delivered a colorful display of 10 silk spring coats, each echoing the kimono shape and handmade in a series of elaborate steps by skilled craftspeople in Kyoto.
The back of each design was adorned with an array of traditional Japanese motifs chosen for their symbolism, with the creations presented in the sun-drenched garden of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in the Marais, their hand-painted patterns seeming to grow out of the low-lying topiary maze.
Among them, a dusty pink design featuring graphic motifs from the Tachibana tree, citrus native to Japan that is symbolic of prosperity, was particularly striking, while another displayed a more graphic combination of traditional drums and waterfall patterns on a black background.
It’s all about inspirations, be yourself, nobody can do it better!
Wrap up the year in the best way possible, to shine all night long! As I usually say December is the most sparkle and shine month, the party season started. Let’s go gold to inspire the looks of this festive season.
That leopard dominates the fashion world we already know, but there are another animal prints on the fashion spot too. That way I choose two more animal pieces to add on my wardrobe- Snake and Zebra .
It’s Time to show off your wild side! The animal print is on the top of trends : first we got the leopard hit print , then zebra, and now it’s time for a snake boomerang. The variety of animals print increased and no matter the period, they always make themselves present keeping the face of modern. It’s something that never goes out of fashion and nowadays gives a fancy touch in more elaborate productions.
The summer is coming to an end. Let’s hope that it will be warm for at least another week till the beginning of October.
Since 2013 on the runways pyjamas style has been dropped on the trend in a such modern way that has been able to thrive in an ever-transforming fashion market .
