There are two things I’d like to improve myself in:
So in my first post of the year I have decided to share a little personal message with you in tribute of everybody that crossed my path in 2017, one way or the other, that contributed to my personal and spiritual growth. Especially from my family and Sebas to my Prendas, Migus and SoulSistas.
I made a concerted effort to consistently focus on what I appreciate most about my life. It’s just like anything else that you need to practice, similar to achieving fitness goals in the gym, before you to get stronger and more confident about it.
So look up, be gentle with yourself and be truly grateful for who you are and what you are capable of. I am learning that more each day.
If you decide to take this approach just like I am doing, first all you should accept yourself being not as good as you wish. ( OHH in my case as a perfectionist, that will or might be the most difficult part).
Because the lack of motivation in seeking reasons to be more positive and focus in myself, it has gotten me through some hard times, where the hopelessness, perfectionism issue and less confidence occupied my thoughts, I’m glad that in retrospective I can clearly see this point. Does this all sound familiar to you.

At one point in my life, I forgot when exactly, I read this and made me deep think about how powerful the connection is between your-self love and gratitude in our life.
So babes, encourage yourself to love and give more thanks to you no matter what physical state you are in life, simply smile more and don’t forget to look up! Believe me you are not alone in this. We are all in this together.
I know that when things in life aren’t so good, feeling grateful is quite complicated and it takes time and effort to be able to see the positive side of the situation. You can loose your job or end a relationship, but trust me, everything has a positive side. And everything is for a reason. And this is already a reason for you to be thankful. It’s hard at first, but trust me: gratitude is the first step.
I’m very grateful that I’m courageous to sharing with you my improvement list and my special 40th Birthday fotoshoot as a inspiration and acceptance for being who you are!
What about to write things that have to be improved about yourself to getting in more self-love mood?
Here’s my goal list:
–I will stop chastising myself for not being further along in a certain process or towards a certain goal. Appreciate how far I’ve come.
– Look in the mirror everyday and give myself a compliment .
-Accept compliments with grace instead of deflecting them.
-Deep listen to my heart, .asking myself “What do I really want?” instead of “What should I want?” And do it
-Take time regularly to do what make me happy and schedule a special date with myself.
And about YOU?
But one thing that I will never stop is to believe in following my dream, like I am doing now. Finding a way to do what I love being fearlessness for things and persons that I might lose along the way or pursuing the dream and keeping my eyes open to all the beauty in daily life!
